An indicative quote is a price estimate from the current market maker price levels. Bebop does not send the request to market makers, does not store the quote, and does not return an order to sign. Use indicative quotes to show prices, compare routes, or size trades. Request a firm quote from /v3/quote before you execute.
Indicative quotes require enablement on your API key. Contact support to get access. They are available on EVM chains. Solana is not supported.

Request indicative quotes

Send a POST request to /v3/indicative-quote. Each item in requests is one trade to price. The top-level fields apply to every item. For all fields, see the Indicative Quote reference.

Read the response

The response has one entry in quotes for each item that Bebop can price, and one entry in errors for each item that it cannot price. A batch can return both. Use errors[].index to find the request item that failed.
The quoteId identifies the request in logs and support. You cannot use it to place an order.

Limits

  • Send 1 to 25 items in requests. A larger batch returns one top-level error and no quotes.
  • Each item counts as one request against your rate limit. The limit is shared with /v3/quote. An item over the limit returns an error in errors.
  • An indicative price is not a commitment. A firm quote for the same trade can be different, mostly for large sizes or when the market moves fast.
